Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons flashed his passing ability in a Summer League game against the Lakers on Saturday evening, making some ridiculous passes to set up his teammates for good looks.
Simmons, the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, went up against Brandon Ingram, who was selected No. 2, and stole the show with his dimes. He got things started early in the game with a couple of dishes in the first quarter.
He finished with eight points, eight assists and 10 rebounds in a 70–69 loss.
In the third, he was back for more. He threaded the needle for to set up an assist, and made his filthiest pass of the night for to record one of his own.
D'Angelo Russell hit a buzzer-beating three to give Los Angeles the win.
