Suns rookie guard Tyler Ulis kept his team alive in the Summer League playoffs with a game-winning three at the buzzer on Saturday night.

With just 1.8 seconds remaining in the game, and Phoenix trailing Denver, 81–79, the 5'9" Ulis inbounded the ball to forward Alan Williams. He quickly raced in bounds, got the ball back, and got a shot off from deep three-point range. He connected, and the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas erupted.

The Suns’ entry will meet Minnesota in the semifinals, taking place on Sunday afternoon.

Ulis, 20, was taken out of Kentucky with the No. 34 pick in this year’s draft.
