Chris Bosh: ‘My career’s not done’
Chris Bosh reacted to Miami Heat president Pat Riley’s recent comments on his future with the team in a new video for Bleacher Report’s Uninterrupted.
Earlier in the week, Riley told the press that Bosh’s career in Miami was over, and the team was “not working toward” his return from blood clots that have kept him off the floor for parts of the last two seasons. In the video, Bosh learns of this news and instantly reacts.
“I guess my career in Miami is done,” he said. “But my career’s not done. I just did not expect that at all.”
He also reflected on the moment he learned the Heat could not clear him to play basketball this season, saying that he threw his phone to the ground and went to sit on his dock for a few hours.
Bosh has three years and $75 million remaining on his contract.
