As you may have heard, LeBron James is SI’s 2016 Sportsperson of the Year.

To commemorate that achievement, we’re running back some of his best plays of 2016. Trust us: It was hard to narrow the list down to just 10. For LeBron, a triple double can feel understated and a 40-point game can come without a signature play, but we still had plenty of exceptional dunks, shots and blocks to choose from.

Here's a look at LeBron's top 10 plays from the year 2016.

From the Editors: Why LeBron James is SI's 2016 Sportsperson of the Year choice

10. Jumpman dunk

He had to know what he was doing.

9. Manu chasedown

At the time, this was just a nice sequence, but with the benefit of hindsight, it looks a lot like foreshadowing.

8. Insane passes

Disclaimer: A lot of people don’t appreciate passing, but I love passing, so we’re compromising by sandwiching three ridiculous ones together.

7. Farewell, Kobe

The duel between James and Kobe Bryant in their final NBA head to head matchup made for one of the most memorable games of the 2015–16 season. There were LeBron dunks involved.

6. Dunking on the Raptors

5. Dunking on the Raptors again

This was an entertaining series.

4. Sorry, Nikola Vucevic

LeBron, in his older years, doesn’t dunk on as many individuals as he once did, but when he does, it’s still just as great.

3. The Other Block

LeBron punking Steph would have been maybe his most memorable moment of the Finals, except...

2. Don’t know what to name this one, but...

It was beautiful.

1. The Block

There was never another highlight that had a chance. ALL ANGLES.
