The NBA has announced its schedule for opening week nationally televised games and Christmas Day games Thursday.

The league's opening week TV schedule will be highlighted by the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the Boston Celtics in a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals and the defending champion Golden State Warriors hosting the Houston Rockets to start the year on Oct. 17.

On Christmas the New York Knicks take on the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden, the  Warriors host the Cavaliers, the Washington Wizards trave to Boston to play the Celtics, the Rockets face the Oklahoma City Thunder in OKC and the Los Angeles Lakers welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves to Staples Center.

The nationally televised games will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN and TNT.
