Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant Open With Best Odds to Win 2017-18 MVP
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant opened as the favorites to win the 2017-18 NBA MVP award, according to SportsInsights.
The former teammates came in at +350, creating a decent gap between themselves and the rest of the pack. Kawhi Leonard is third on the list at +550, followed up by last season's MVP-runner up James Harden at +700.
LeBron James came in tied with Giannis Antetokounmpo at +750.
From there, the gap started to widen even more with Steph Curry at +1100, Anthony Davis at +1600 and Isiah Thomas and Paul George rounding out the top 10 at +2000.

Some other notable players further down on the list include John Wall and Karl-Anthony Towns at +3000, Chris Paul at +3300, Joel Embiid at +5000 and Carmelo Anthony at +6000.
Last season Westbrook opened up at +300, which were the second best odds at the time trailing only Curry who was +250.
