Michael Jordan’s Illinois Residence Broken Into, per Report
An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for trying to break in to Michael Jordan’s house in Highland Park, Ill.
Raiden K. Hagedorn was charged with three misdemeanors of criminal trespass to occupied residence and two counts of criminal damage to property, per the Lake & McHenry County Scanner.
The Highland Park police department found Hagedorn at the Bulls legend’s Chicagoland home on Tuesday after neighbors called about a burglary in progress.
Hagedorn was taken to the local jail, but was later released on bond. The 18-year-old is expected to appear in court on April 20.
Jordan no longer lives at the residence as he put the 56,000-square-foot property on the market back in 2012. The home was first listed at $29 million when it was first put on the market, but it’s now listed at $14,855,000.
The six-time NBA champion’s former residence is known for Jordan’s iconic jersey number “23” on the gate at the property’s entrance.
