With the team’s first-round series against the Suns tied at one game apiece, the Clippers will reportedly be without star forward Kawhi Leonard for Thursday’s Game 3 in Los Angeles, according to a report from ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.

Leonard will miss the game with a sprained left knee, an injury sustained during Sunday’s 115–110 Game 1 victory. He played through pain during the team’s 123–109 loss in Game 2, and is considered day-to-day going forward.

This latest ailment is not considered to be related to his previous ACL injury, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Clippers are already without star wing Paul George, who is also recovering from a knee injury and is not expected to be available through the first round.
