Jimmy ‘Himmy’ Butler Grows Playoff Legacy With Heat’s Upset of Bucks
Playoff Jimmy Butler is back in full swing, and the Bucks just witnessed his wrath firsthand. After Butler forced overtime for the Heat in dramatic fashion, hitting the most improbable of shots with just a couple of seconds left in the game, he helped sink Milwaukee in overtime.
Butler and the No. 8 seeded Heat will advance to face the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals, and NBA Twitter wasted no time crowning the Heat’s superstar “him.”
Fans were in absolute awe of Butler’s master class Wednesday night, during which he dropped a game-high 42 points, as Miami dethroned the top team in the East.
The legacy of “Himmy Butler” grew after the Game 5 win, and social media had no shortage of praise for the 33-year-old’s heroic performance.
Butler dropped 56 points in Game 4, only to follow it up with a huge 42-point outing in Game 5, willing the Heat to a trip to the second round, where a matchup against his former coach, Tom Thibodeau, and the Knicks awaits.
