Lakers star Anthony Davis was seen heading toward the locker room late in the fourth quarter after taking an elbow to the head from Warriors center Kevon Looney.

After Davis went up to fight for a rebound, Looney appeared to catch him square in the head with an elbow. Davis immediately clutched at his head in pain, and was shortly after subbed out of the game and seen exiting the court in the direction of the locker room.

Davis did not return to the game due to the head injury.

NBA insider Chris Haynes reported that Davis appeared to be wobbling while walking with some support from the training staff.

Haynes also reported that Davis was escorted in a wheelchair for further evaluation.

Davis logged 32 minutes before sustaining the head injury which knocked him out of Wednesday's contest. He had 23 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

The team didn’t provide an update regarding his status for Game 6, which will be back in Los Angeles on Friday at the Crypto.com Arena.
