The 76ers dismissed coach Doc Rivers on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The move comes just two days after Philadelphia lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals to the Celtics.

The 76ers’ search for a new coach is expected to include Mike Budenholzer, Sam Cassell, Mike D’Antoni, Nick Nurse, Frank Vogel and Monty Williams, Wojnarowski reports. Rivers and the entire Philadelphia team faced significant scrutiny after the team’s collapse to end the series.

The 76ers had a chance to punch their ticket to the Eastern Conference finals in Game 6, but lost the home game despite Jayson Tatum struggling mightily for the first three quarters. Game 7 was a much less competitive affair, with Philadelphia losing 112–88.

The loss marked the third year in a row that the 76ers lost in the second round of the playoffs—all under Rivers, who still had two more years left on his contract. Rivers’s latest playoff loss also gave him a 6–10 record in Game 7s. No coach in NBA history has lost more Game 7s.
