Devin Booker Breaks Silence on Twitter After Suns’ Early Playoff Exit

Suns shooting guard Devin Booker posted a cryptic tweet Monday night that appeared to address both his and Kevin Durant’s mindset going into the offseason. Booker simply posted “36 unbothered,” which people have come to conclude is him referring to Durant, whose jersey number is 35, and himself, who wears No. 1.

This was the first time NBA fans have heard from Booker since his team’s blowout loss Thursday that ended their season. The three-time All-Star didn’t talk to media members after the Nuggets won the Western Conference semifinals in six games and dominated the final matchup 125–105. Booker had just 12 points on 4-for-13 shooting in 36 minutes of action.

Besides the brutal Game 6 performance, both he and Durant were electric during the playoffs. Booker was averaging 33.7 points per game this postseason while Durant was posting 29 points a night. As a result of the loss, Phoenix parted ways with coach Monty Williams and will surely look to bolster its roster for the 2023–24 season.

But all things considered, Booker doesn’t appear fazed in the slightest online.
