The Wizards are trading star shooting guard Bradley Beal to the Suns, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Beal will waive his no-trade clause to team up with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker in Phoenix.

The Suns are reportedly sending Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, a handful of second-round picks, and multiple pick swaps back to Washington for Beal. It could take several days for the full framework of the deal to be completed, per ESPN

The reason for the delay is because the Wizards are planning to field offers from third teams on a trade for Chris Paul. The Clippers are one of the teams expected to pursue the future Hall of Famer in a deal, per Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes.

Beal, who turns 30 in just 11 days, is a three-time All Star and one of the best players at his position. Just this past season, he averaged 23.2 points, 5.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game—and he doesn’t come cheap. Phoenix didn’t have to give up Deandre Ayton or a first-round pick for Beal, but he still has four years and $207 million on his massive extension he signed with Washington.

With Beal now joining Durant, Booker and Ayton, that makes four max contracts on the Suns’ roster. Phoenix already showed it was all in when the franchise traded for Durant last season, but ultimately came up short and lost in the Western Conference semifinals to the eventual champion Nuggets.

Now with Beal, the Suns are going even further all in to win an NBA title next season.
