Vince Carter Joining YES Network as Nets Analyst, per Report
Former All-NBA guard Vince Carter appears to have found a new television home.
Carter will analyze "a small package" of Nets games for YES Network, according to a Tuesday morning report from Andrew Marchand of The New York Post.
The 46-year-old Carter, an eight-time NBA All-Star during his career, played for New Jersey from 2005-09.
Following the end of his playing career in 2020, he joined ESPN as an NBA and college basketball analyst; however, ESPN reportedly opted not to renew his contract ahead of the 2024 season.
According to Marchand, former DePaul guard Sarah Kustok and former Nets guard Richard Jefferson are set to remain Brooklyn's primary analysts.
After starring at North Carolina, Carter embarked on one of the longest careers in NBA history. His 1,541 games played for the Raptors, Nets, Magic, Suns, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Kings and Hawks rank third in NBA history behind Hall of Fame centers Robert Parish and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Brooklyn is scheduled to open its season Wednesday evening against the Cavaliers.
