It’s no secret that James Harden left the 76ers organization on bad terms with Philadelphia executive Daryl Morey.

So, when the Harden and the Clippers traveled to Brooklyn on Wednesday night, Nets fans knew exactly how to mess with Harden as he attempted free throws. The crowd at the Barclays Center erupted in a “Daryl Morey” chant while Harden stood at the free throw line.

Harden was only traded on Oct. 31, so the beef between him and Morey is likely still fresh in his mind.

The chanting didn’t work, though, as Harden made both free throw attempts.

The tension between Harden and Morey publicly began this offseason when the guard called Morey a “liar.” Harden requested a trade, which eventually ended in him landing with the Clippers. Harden also said that his relationship would not be mended with Morey, and even compared it to a “bad marriage.”
