The Lakers have made a decision on whether or not they’ll hang a banner if they capture the inaugural NBA Cup on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Currently, the Lakers have no plans to change their stance on only hanging banners for NBA championships, according to a report from Arash Markazi of The Messenger

Markazi noted that the Lakers do not hang banners for Western Conference titles or Pacific Division titles and, for now, NBA In-Season Tournament titles if they win on Saturday night.

LeBron James continued his outstanding start to the season, defying Father Time once again with 30 points, eight assists and five rebounds on 9-12 shooting from the floor.

The Lakers will face the Pacers for the NBA Cup, after Tyrese Haliburton powered Indiana to a 128–119 victory over Milwaukee on Thursday. The budding Pacers star finished with 27 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds in the win.

The Lakers and Pacers face off in a standalone matchup on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
