As part of the broadcast for the NBA in-season tournament semifinals on Thursday night, ESPN and TNT held a crossover edition of NBA Countdown and Inside The NBA, which put Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon on set with the iconic TNT crew.

Just for the occasion, TNT’s Inside The NBA crew decided it would be fun to put Smith on the spot with a hilarious game of “Who He Play For?”

As host Ernie Johnson noted, the game is usually played by the Inside The NBA crew at the beginning of each NBA season. A random player is called out by Johnson, and Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal have to guess his team.

O’Neal got the party started by taking cash out of his wallet and throwing it on the desk if Stephen A. Smith got three out of the five players correct.

Smith had to guess the teams for the following five players: the Hornets’ Ish SmithCavaliers’ Damian JonesMavericks’ Dante Exum, and Raptors’ Otto Porter Jr. and Garrett Temple.

Smith went 2-for-5, only getting Porter and Temple correct from the list.

Our description certainly doesn’t do the video justice. Watch for yourself in the full clip below:
