Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert had a disastrous visit to the free throw line during the second quarter of Sunday’s tilt against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Frenchman came up short on both attempts, air-balling the first attempt before coming up well short on his second try with a shot that caught nothing but net in the worst of ways.

Gobert’s pair of brutal misses at the charity stripe left the Clippers bench in utter hysterics, as they were loudly laughing at the Timberwolves star after his unfortunate misses.

No one was enjoying the moment more than Russell Westbrook, however, who couldn’t contain himself after Gobert’s second miss. The veteran point guard could be seen cracking up on the bench with a pair of fans sitting nearby, who posted a video of the incident.

According to the fan, Westbrook asked him to film the second free throw attempt after Gobert's first shot missed terribly.

Westbrook, who was seemingly refusing to watch the second shot, laughed wildly and held up two fingers to the camera after the ball came up short of the rim.

Although Los Angeles was enjoying the center’s struggles from the free-throw line early on, Gobert was able to exact revenge, as he knocked down a pair of clutch foul shots in order to secure a 109–105 win for Minnesota.
