The NBA announced that it has postponed Friday night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks following the death of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević.

Milojević suffered a heart attack during Golden State’s team dinner on Tuesday night in Utah before a game against the Jazz on Wednesday, a game which was also postponed in the wake of the tragedy. The league has not yet announced a rescheduled date for either game.

The Warriors-Mavericks game was scheduled to be aired on ESPN at 10 p.m. ET, and the league announced that instead, ESPN will broadcast the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets as part of its doubleheader.

Milojević had been a Warriors assistant since 2021 following a long career both playing and coaching basketball overseas. The Warriors organization mourned Milojević’s loss on Wednesday.

Golden State has four more days off before their next game, a home matchup vs. the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
