The New York Knicks likely will be operating without center Julius Randle for a while.

Randle suffered a dislocated right shoulder in the Knicks’ 125–109 win over the Miami Heat on Saturday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Wojnarowski also reported the X-Ray conducted after the game didn’t show “much damange,” but the Knicks plan to find out more in an MRI later Saturday.

Asked by reporters after the game how concerned he is about Randle, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau responded, “Very.”

“You’re concerned anytime anyone gets hurt and you hope for the best,” Thibodeau said. “And that’s where we are. I also feel that if he’s out, the next guy gets in there and gets it done.”

Randle sustained the injury with 4:27 to play in the game and the Knicks comfortably ahead with a 17-point lead.

New York, winners of six straight games, return to the floor Monday to visit the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center.
