The mascot for the San Antonio Spurs—known simply as The Coyote—was called into duty yet again on Saturday night to do what it does best: catch wild bats.

That’s right. Another bat got loose at Frost Bank Center, causing a delay during the matchup between the Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves.

It was left up to The Coyote to get the game going again, and the caped crusader quickly changed into a Batman costume and grabbed a net. He caught the bat in a few quick moments like a true professional.

“Got him! Got him!” Timberwolves play-by-play announcer Michael Grady exclaimed on the Bally Sports North broadcast.

Timberwolves and Spurs players watched The Coyote from a distance but celebrated with the mascot after his big play. San Antonio guard Devin Vassell gave the mascot a hug, and star rookie Victor Wembanyama made sure to pay his respects before play resumed.

At halftime, the Timberwolves led the Spurs 64–52. And The Coyote led the wild bat 1–0.
