Draymond Green, Jayson Tatum to Star in Special NBA All-Star Game Telecasts
This year's NBA All-Star Game festivities will include telecasts featuring past and present NBA All-Stars alike.
TNT will announce two alternate broadcasts of All-Star events in Indianapolis on truTV starring Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, according to a Tuesday morning report from Richard Deitsch of The Athletic.
Per Deitsch, Tatum will serve as an analyst for the first time Saturday on an alternate broadcast of the Three-Point Contest. That broadcast will also feature retired forward Carmelo Anthony and retired guard/forward Vince Carter.
On Sunday, Green will join Hall of Fame forward (and frequent foil) Charles Barkley to watch the All-Star Game itself. Three-time Sixth Man of the Year and retired guard Jamal Crawford will serve as a sideline reporter, “[facilitating] players interacting with Barkley and Green.”
Tatum will start the All-Star Game Sunday for the Eastern Conference in his fifth appearance in the annual showcase. Green has been an All-Star four times in the past—most recently in 2022.
