Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is set to take on Sabrina Ionescu of the WNBA’s New York Liberty in a one-on-one three-point contest on Saturday night as part of NBA All-Star Saturday night.

With Curry trending ahead of the much-anticipated three-point competition, a 30-year-old video has circulated of the Warriors star as a kid, watching his dad, Dell, participate in the 1994 three-point contest.

While Dell Curry was no slouch in his day, shooting a cool 40.2% from beyond the arc, it pales in comparison to what his son, Steph, has been able to do at the NBA level.

Steph Curry is the league’s all-time leading three-point shooter, with 3,642 makes and counting on a 42.7% career clip, and has become one of the best shooters in NBA history.

Curry will look to make his dad proud on Saturday night in Indianapolis as he faces off against one of the WNBA’s best shooters in a first-time contest.
