Atlanta Hawks coach Quin Snyder earned an early trip back to the locker room Friday during his team’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors at State Farm Arena.

Late in the first half, Hawks guard Trae Young appeared to sustain a leg injury after trying to get around a pick. It happened right in front of Snyder, who immediately confronted an official about the no-call.

Snyder was issued two technical fouls and an ejection in a matter of seconds, but he made sure his message to the referee was crystal clear before leaving the court.

There were five total technical fouls called in the first half—four on which were called on the Hawks as Young and De’Andre Hunter also picked up techs.

Young stayed in the game after his collision with Raptors center Jakob Poeltl. After three quarters, the Raptors led the Hawks 96–90.
