The superstar might have even surprised himself with this reaction.

LeBron James used a bit of spontaneous, uh, creativity to celebrate a dunk by teammate Anthony Davis on Sunday.

Late in the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 123–113 loss to the Phoenix Suns, forward Taurean Prince lobbed up a layup but missed. Davis was there, however, and threw down a thunderous one-handed put-back dunk.

James, watching from the bench, gave a joyous fist-pump before reaching behind him for a Gatorade cup to reenact the put-back dunk.

“Oh yeah, he’s really loving it,” ESPN play-by-play announcer Ryan Ruocco said on the broadcast. "Loving it more than we even realized.”

James finished the night with 28 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds, but the Lakers lost for the second time in three games since the All-Star break.

The Lakers return to the floor Wednesday to battle their crosstown rival Los Angeles Clippers at Crypto.com Arena. Gatorade cups beware.
