The Chicago Bulls tried to execute a play that would result in an easy layup vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, but guard Jevon Carter's quick change of plans seemed to mess up the opportunity.

Carter dribbled the ball down the court, then tricked the Cavaliers defense and threw a slippery pass to center Nikola Vučević. While Vučević had the ball, Carter cut wide open to the basket, but after Vučević found him, Carter passed up the easy bucket, dishing the ball back out to Coby White.

Vučević was left just as confused as the Cavaliers, throwing both arms out in front of him to question what his teammate was thinking in that moment. He couldn’t believe his eyes.

What made matters worse is that White missed the three-point shot.

Carter may hear from Vučević after Wednesday’s game.
