Warriors Optimistic About Steph Curry’s Timeline Returning From Ankle Sprain, per Report
The Golden State Warriors avoided the worst-case scenario Friday, as an MRI on Steph Curry’s right ankle came back clean, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
Curry, who exited the Warriors’ 125–122 loss to the Chicago Bulls early after suffering the ankle injury, is expected to miss at least one game. But the Warriors reportedly are optimistic they’ll have their star guard back on the floor soon, The Athletic’s Anthony Slater reported Friday.
The Warriors play the San Antonio Spurs twice over the next four days—on Saturday at Chase Center and Monday at Frost Bank Center. They will then continue a three-game road trip with matchups against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday and the Los Angeles Lakers on March 16.
Golden State currently sits ninth in the Western Conference with a 33–29 record.
