Bulls' Coby White Reveals Teammate's Embarrassing Childhood Nickname During Hilarious Postgame Interview
The Chicago Bulls beat the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night, 127-105. DeMar DeRozan led everyone in scoring with 39 points on just 22 field goal attempts so he got to do a postgame interview with NBC Sports Chicago.
Teammate Dalen Terry, who provided 12 points off the bench, was also asked to participate. Coby White was not, but he got involved anyway, running in as the interview started to scream "D-Booty" multiple times while everyone shared a good laugh and Terry tried to cover his mouth and push him away.
While both DeRozan and Terry have first names that begin with the letter D, we can safely assume White was talking about Terry because that's the kind of thing that Kyle Lowry would have revealed to the world a decade ago in Toronto. Whereas Terry is just in his second year in the league and only plays 11 minutes a game so he hasn't had as many chances for his friends to embarrass him on live television.
As for the actual game, it was a big win for Chicago. With that victory and the Washington Wizards next on the schedule, Chicago is all but locked into the 9th-seed in the Eastern Conference. So they will likely host a game in the Play-In Tournament, which means at least one extra opportunity for players to shout "D-Booty" on the local NBC Sports affiliate.
