Philadelphia 76ers wing Kelly Oubre Jr. met with the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday's Game 1 between the Sixers and New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Oubre expressed excitement to play at "The Mecca" but couldn't help but take a shot at celebrities who often sit courtside for Knicks games.

"The fans are pretty crazy, you know?" Oubre began. "They have a pretty good culture of being wild and loving basketball to the root and the core of it. They call it 'The Mecca' of basketball for a reason. The lights are super bright. They're going to give celebrities those $100,000 free tickets just to be there and not care about the game but that's what they do. I look forward to it man, it's one of my favorite places to play."

Actor Ben Stiller, a diehard Knicks fan who will certainly be courtside on Saturday night, made sure to chime in on Oubre's comments, talking plenty of trash in the process.

"Oh I think I care a lot more than you think that you thought I cared... Kelly Who-bre?" Stiller posted on X (formerly Twitter), on Saturday.

Safe to say the beef between Oubre and Stiller is one of the most unexpected showdowns in recent memory, ahead of what should be an exciting first round series in the Eastern Conference.
