Bucks' Damian Lillard Strains Achilles, Status in Doubt for Game 4 vs. Pacers
Milwaukee Bucks star point guard Damian Lillard has a Grade 1 Achilles strain and is doubtful for Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday in Indianapolis, according to a report from Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.
It was clear that the injury was limiting Lillard's burst in Friday night's Game 3 overtime loss to the Pacers, and now his likely departure from the lineup will put the Bucks in a precarious situation heading into Sunday's pivotal Game 4.
Milwaukee has already been without former league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in the playoff series due to a calf strain, and there's no clear indication of when he will return.
The onus will be put on Khris Middleton to carry the team offensively into Game 4. He scored a game-high 42 points in the loss on Friday night.
Indiana leads the series 2–1. Game 4 is set for Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
