Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns had their season come to an end Sunday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves completed a four-game sweep with a 122-116 victory on the road.

Anthony Edwards once again led the way for Minnesota, scoring 40 points in 41 minutes of action. He had 36 or more points in all four games against the Suns while lifting the Timberwolves to their first playoff series win since 2004.

Durant loved what he saw from Edwards in the series, saying after the game that the Timberwolves star is his favorite player to watch. This was a pretty classy message from Durant after having his season ended by a player who grew up idolizing him:
