Another member of the Philadelphia 76ers’ roster popped up on the injury report on Friday afternoon.

The veteran guard Kelly Oubre is revealed to be dealing with right shoulder soreness. As a result, Oubre has been downgraded to questionable for the matchup.

Oubre joins an injury report, which features several players on Friday. As expected, the center Joel Embiid will continue to miss time as he recovers from knee surgery.

As for the veteran reserve forward, Robert Covington, he remains out with a knee injury. Currently, there is no official timeline in place for either players’ return.

Along with Embiid and Covington, the veteran guard De’Anthony Melton will miss Friday’s game. Although Melton recently returned after sitting out for several weeks due to a back issue, Melton experienced back spasms during Tuesday’s game in Boston. Unfortunately, the Sixers anticipate another multi-game absence for Melton.

Oubre and the veteran forward KJ Martin are questionable to take on the Hornets. Lately, the latter player has been off the floor as he’s missed the last two games with an ankle-related injury.

On the other hand, Oubre hasn’t missed a game since January 12, when the Sixers took on the Sacramento Kings. Since missing that matchup, Oubre appeared in the Sixers’ next 21 games, picking up 19 starts while averaging 30 minutes on the floor. The veteran has averaged 13 points and five rebounds while hitting on just 23 percent of his threes lately.

Oubre is considered a game-time decision against Charlotte on Friday. The Sixers and the Hornets are set to battle it out at 7 PM ET.
