76ers: James Harden’s Stats & Highlights in Game 1 vs.Nets

How did James Harden perform in the 76ers Game 1 victory over the Nets?

The Philadelphia 76ers opened up their 2023 round one NBA Playoffs series on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.

To no surprise, the Sixers were favored going into the matchup, as they entered the postseason ranked as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Sixers received an impressive performance from their ten-time All-Star guard James Harden on Saturday. After Harden received rest during the final two regular season games, he looked refreshed going into Saturday’s game despite dealing with Achilles soreness throughout the final month of the regular season.

During the first quarter of Saturday’s Game 1 matchup against the Nets, Harden looked a bit rusty in the scoring department, especially when attacking the paint. After shaking the rust, Harden’s long-range shot started to fall.

Once shots started falling, Harden led the way for the Sixers in the scoring department to help them establish a nine-point lead going into halftime.

While Harden’s scoring took a backseat in the second half, the star guard found success in his strong suit this season, the playmaking department.
