Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Brooklyn Nets for Game 1 of their first-round series on Saturday afternoon.
Coming off of an impressive regular season, Embiid had high expectations surrounding him going against an underdog Nets team.

Despite Bridges having the highest-scoring performance on Saturday, the Sixers still received a notable boost from their MVP finalist Embiid.
While it could’ve been considered a quiet offensive outing for Embiid, he had an all-around productive afternoon in the first game against the Nets. With Embiid’s help, the Sixers picked up their first playoff victory of the year, putting the Nets away with a 121-101 victory.
