As one of the top duos in the NBA, the Philadelphia 76ers have two players vying for a spot on the All-Star team this season. Through the second round of voting, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are still among the top vote-getters at their respective position.

Embiid and Maxey remain in the same spots from the first round of voting. The reigning MVP has the third-highest amount of votes, landing him second among Eastern Conference frontcourt players. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo are the only players with more votes than Embiid.

Looking at the Eastern Conference guards, Maxey is still in the top five but has a lot of ground to cover. The players listed ahead of him are Donovan Mitchell, Damian Lillard, Trae Young, and Tyrese Haliburton.

Another notable name with a good number of votes is former Sixer James Harden. He currently sits at fourth among Western Conference guards with over 600,000 votes.

Despite being on the wrong end of a three-game losing streak, the Sixers are still a top team in the Eastern Conference. Their 23-13 is good for third place, trailing the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics

The play of Embiid and Maxey is a major catalyst in the Sixers' success this season. Embiid is in the midst of another MVP season, putting up averages of 34.6 PPG, 11.8 RPG, and 6.0 APG.

In his first season as the nightly No. 2 option for the Sixers, Maxey is having a breakout season. Through 35 games, he is posting a career-high 26.2 PPG to go along with 3.7 RPG and 6.7 APG.

Maxey is fresh off an all-around performance in the Sixers' latest matchup. Before fouling out in overtime, he put up a stat line of 35 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, and four steals.

If the voting stays this way, Embiid will likely be named a starter again. Maxey will have a chance at being a reserve but will need coaches to vote him in.
