76ers' Trio Makes History vs. Raptors

On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Toronto Raptors as they looked to win their third game against them this season, claiming the season series.
They would do just that as the Sixers cleared the Raptors, 121-111, with the victory coming as a team effort led by the big three; Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Tobias Harris.
Embiid started off the night slow, only managing to score 11 points in the first half, in part due to an injury scare caused by a faulty landing which saw him roll his ankle.
It wouldn't be until the second half where Embiid turned on his offensive engine, as the reigning MVP scored 17 points in the third quarter alone, while adding another three in the fourth quarter, bringing his final tally to 31 points.
With his 31 points performance, Embiid continues his streak of 30+ points and ten rebound outings to 13 games.
While Embiid took some time to get going, Maxey was consistent throughout the match, making small contributions up until the fourth quarter, in which Maxey would erupt for 17 points.
The late scoring surge came as a result of two makes from beyond the arch by the 23-year-old, helping him finish the night with 33 points.
Last but certainly not least, there was Harris, who truly helped keep the Sixers in the match despite being down as far as 15 points in the first quarter, when the team couldn't buy a bucket.
Despite his team's struggles in the early goings, Harris led the way, scoring 24 points in the first half alone, thanks to four shots from downtown, as well as some success at the free throw line.
While Harris would start to cool off in the second half, he managed to add on an additional nine points, ending the game with 33 points.
Besides pulling off a scrappy victory against a division rival, the big three also made franchise history as they were the first trio of Sixers' players to score 30 points in the same game since 1961, when Hal Greer, Dick Barnett, and Dolph Schayes did it as a part of the Syracuse Nationals.
