76ers vs. Bucks: Game Odds, Players to Watch
On Sunday night, the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Milwaukee Bucks, looking to continue their two-game winning streak as the season comes to a close.
Their most recent victory came on Friday night against the Toronto Raptors, with the Sixers coming out of the gates swinging.
In the opening half, the Sixers were impeccable from the field, scoring 77 points on a highly efficient 77 percent shooting, thanks in large part to their starting lineup shooting no worse than 66 percent.
Joel Embiid and James Harden found their strokes early, with the partnership scoring over 12 points in the opening quarter.
Although they left the opening half hot, they would quickly cool down over the second half, which allowed the Raptors to stage a near comeback against Philadelphia.
A clutch three from P.J. Tucker and a layup from Harden would seal the door shut on Toronto, securing the Sixers their second straight win.
One player who was absent in their victory was Tobias Harris, who sat out due to a non-COVID-related illness, yet, this may not be an issue for Sunday night as the Sixers have no injuries reported.
On the other side of the ticket sits the Milwaukee Bucks, who are coming off of a tough loss to the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.
Their match on Thursday night was supposed to be a close one, with both spots fighting for control at the top of the conference standings, yet, the Celtics led the Bucks by 30 going into halftime due to the 42-point partnership of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
Jevon Carter is listed as questionable with left-knee soreness, as Thanasis Antetokounmpo will be out for the match after being suspended for head-butting Blake Griffin in the closing minutes of the match.
