Last week, the Philadelphia 76ers unveiled their city edition jerseys for the 2023-24 season. A fellow Philly star has already got his hands on one, and wore it ahead of his biggest game of the year.

After making the World Series last year, the Philadelphia Phillies are one win away from getting back. On Tuesday night, they'll take the field in a win-or-go-home Game 7 of the National League Championship series.

Harper has been known to show love to other Philly sports teams in the past, and decided to rock Sixers gear ahead of Game 7. Instead of repping one of the team's stars like Joel Embiid or Tyrese Maxey, Harper was seen in a Patrick Beverley city edition jersey.

This is the second time over the past few weeks that Harper has been spotted in Sixers attire. Back at the start of October, he rolled up to a game sporting an Allen Iverson graphic t-shirt. On that same night, outfielder Christian Pache wore a throwback Iverson jersey.

If the Phillies want any shot at punching their ticket for the World Series, they'll need another big time performance from Harper. He's been one of their top players this postseason, hitting .316 with five home runs in 12 games.

As for his jersey selection, Harper made a good choice ahead of a big game. Beverley is known for bringing intensity on the basketball court, and the Phillies need that kind of energy for Game 7. Having just signed with the Sixers over the summer, Beverley should feel special that the former MVP decided to wear his jersey ahead of such a big matchup.
