Bucks' Superstar 'Probable' vs. 76ers

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been downgraded for the Sixers' match.

On Sunday afternoon, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Milwaukee Bucks, in what is set to be only their second meeting of the season, following their close match to open the season.

The Sixers come into the match off of a narrow win over the Eastern Conference contending Cleveland Cavaliers, who were without their leading scorer and All-Star reserve player, Donovan Mitchell.

Tyrese Maxey would prove to be an issue for JB Bickerstaff's side, slashing his way through their defense on his way to a 35 point performance, while showing his efficiency from the field, shooting with 40 percent accuracy.

Elsewhere in the Nick Nurse's starting lineup, Buddy Hield and Tobias Harris proved to be quite the productive partnership, with the two combining for 28 points and 14 rebounds.

While the Sixers took on the Cavaliers without one of their biggest names, the same might be said about Sunday's match, as the Bucks could be without Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The seven-time All-Star has been downgraded due to patellar tendinitis in his right knee, which could cause him to miss only his third game of the season.

This didn't appear to be an issue in Antetokounmpo's last match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night, where he'd erupt for 33 points and 13 rebounds.

When the two sides met earlier on in the season, the 29-year-old had himself a night, scoring 23 points on 47 percent from the field, while also grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking two shots.

Elsewhere on the Bucks' bench sits Khris Middleton, who will remain on the bench due to sprained left ankle which he injured in a match against the Phoenix Suns prior to the All-Star break.

The Sixers are set to take on the Bucks on Sunday afternoon, with tip-off slated for 1:00 p.m. EST.
