Multiple 76ers See Movement in Latest Player Rankings
As we approach the final lap of the regular season, the Philadelphia 76ers have had their fair share of ups and downs. Thanks to a strong start, they've managed to hold on to a top five seed in the Eastern Conference with Joel Embiid on the sidelines.
While they might be going through a rough stretch right now, there is no denying the Sixers have a roster filled with talent. In the latest addition of The Ringer's NBA player rankings, they find themselves with three players in the top 100.
Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Tobias Harris all make an appearance, but they've each taken a slight dip. First up is Embiid, who remains out while he rehabs and injury to his left knee. The reigning MVP remains in the top five, coming in at No. 4. This is two spots lower from when the list was last updated.
One of the biggest risers on the list this season is Maxey, which is a testament to his breakout campaign. After being ranked No. 55 back in October, he has climbed into the top 30. After being listed at No. 27 last time around, he falls one spot to No. 28. In 48 games this season, Maxey is averaging 25.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 6.4 APG.
Dating back to the start of the season, Tobias Harris has also jumped up a good bit. So far this season, the veteran forward is averaging 17.7 PPG on 50/34/89 shooting splits. Harris began the year at No. 83, but once got as high as No. 63. Now, he lands a few spots down at No. 66. Some of the players around him include CJ McCollum, Michael Porter Jr., and Jerami Grant.
