On Tuesday, the Philadelphia 76ers announced the official hires for Nick Nurse’s coaching staff ahead of the 2023-2024 NBA season.

Following a three-year run with Doc Rivers as the head coach, the Sixers moved on after another disappointing exit in the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

After going on a multi-week search for a replacement, the Sixers focused on roughly seven candidates. Nurse headlined the list as he wrapped up a ten-year stint with the Toronto Raptors.

After considering several candidates, Daryl Morey and the Sixers decided to announce Nurse as the next head coach of the 76ers.

With a key change at the top of the coaching staff came key changes across the board. A few weeks before training camp begins, the Sixers make their coaching staff official.
