Philadelphia 76ers Unveil 2023-24 City Edition Jerseys

The Philadelphia 76ers have revealed their new City Edition jerseys, heavily inspired by the iconic Reading Terminal Market.

The Philadelphia 76ers have officially unveiled their City edition jerseys for the upcoming NBA season.

The jerseys, navy blue with red streaks and arrows going through the sides, the numbers formed out of the inner designs of fluorescent bulbs are inspired from Philadelphia's iconic Reading Terminal Market.

Given this inspiration, the team held an event for season ticket holders at the landmark, which gave them the opportunity to see the new jersey design as well as their favorite players behind the counters at different booths throughout the market.

Honoring the landmarks and nickname of Philadelphia is nothing new for the Sixers as some of the recent City edition jerseys have featured Boathouse Row which lines the Schuylkill River, designs from the Spectrum era, or most recently, the nickname "City of Brotherly Love".

As has been the case since the Sixers partnered with them in 2021, Crypto.com's logo will be returning as a patch on the jersey.

One part of the design that has not been shown is that for the court, which will be swapped out on the "Spirit of 76" nights scattered throughout the season.

Last season, the team opted for a different wood pattern on the floor boards, with the City design making up the sidelines, as they did a year prior with a court that paid tribute to the Spectrum's court design that was used from the late 60s to early 80s.

The Sixers have yet to announce the schedule for the "Spirit of 76" nights for the upcoming season.
