UPDATE: Tobias Harris has been ruled out against the Miami Heat on Monday.

Will Monday’s matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat miss the veteran forward Tobias Harris? The Sixers are preparing for that possibility leading up to the game.

According to the injury report, the Sixers have listed Harris as questionable for the game. Lately, Harris has been dealing with a right ankle sprain, which he suffered during the team’s nine-point loss against the Milwaukee Bucks last week.

As the Sixers battled it out with the Bucks, Harris checked in for a little under 28 minutes. From the field, he put up 11 shots, knocking down 46 percent of his attempts. He hit on two of his four shots from beyond the arc. The veteran finished the game with 15 points, bouncing back from his two-point showing two nights prior against the New York Knicks.

Unfortunately for Harris, he’s facing a setback heading into the new week. It started on Saturday night, as Harris was downgraded on the injury report ahead of the Sixers’ matchup against the Charlotte Hornets.

After missing the team’s morning shootaround, Harris was expectedly ruled out against the Hornets on Saturday. In his absence, the Sixers took care of business and defeated Charlotte by 11 points.

On Sunday, the Sixers held a practice session. While the team was fortunate to roll out a couple of injured players for the first time in a while, Harris was reportedly not a participant. The team hasn’t ruled him out against Miami just yet, but his absence is a sign that there’s a higher chance of Harris getting a second night off.

The last time Harris missed consecutive games was back in mid-February. He sat out against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Heat. When he returned to face the Knicks on February 22, Harris put together a 12-game stretch, which featured him averaging 15 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
