Should 76ers Fans Be Worried About Tobias Harris?
The previous five games haven't been easy for the Philadelphia 76ers as they've taken on teams such as the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Brooklyn Nets, amongst others.
Going 3-2 across the short excerpt of games is due to different factors.
On the one hand, Joel Embiid has shown the league why his name should be in the MVP discussion, averaging 31 points and ten rebounds.
James Harden has also started to find his rhythm again, averaging 21 points on 46 percent from the field as well as feeding nearly ten assists per game to his teammates.
While those two started to heat up, Tobias Harris started to cool down.
Over the previous five games, Harris is averaging eight points per game on 37 percent shooting, which is a dip down from his 16 points on 50 percent accuracy.
Perhaps the lowest game of the season for Harris was his lackluster performance against the Brooklyn Nets, ending the game with only three points, missing eight shots through his 28 minutes on the court.
This cold snap has had fans frustrated with people on social media calling for the forward to be traded or to be benched, yet should fans really be worried?
Harris has shown signs of warming back up, as he dropped 11 points on 62 percent accuracy against the Houston Rockets on Monday, showing that he is still confident in his shot from three.
The All-Star break may be a small break period for Harris to recharge his batteries and fix the mistakes that have plagued him over the past five games.
