As an emerging star in the NBA, Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey has built up a fanbase among current players in the league. One All-Star talent recently showed that Maxey's jersey is a key part of his collection.

For years now, jersey swapping has become a key ritual after NBA games. Whether it be friends or someone they admire, it's a huge sign of respect in the league.

This season, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton finds himself starting for the Eastern Conference All-Star team. It is a big moment for the 23-year-old as he will also be representing the host city.

Leading up to All-Star weekend, Haliburton did an interview in his home. He proceeded to showcase his collection of jerseys that he's gathered over the past three years in the NBA. Among those shown were players like Russell Westbrook and Cade Cunningham. Maxey also makes an appearance for a special reason. Haliburton said he wanted the jersey because they are the only people named Tyrese in NBA history.

This was the case when the two guards entered the league, but has since changed. Last season, Tyrese Martin appeared in 16 games for the Atlanta Hawks. He was one of the final players taken in the 2022 NBA Draft (No. 51 overall). While his stint was short, Martin now technically finds himself in this exclusive club.

While he won't be starting like Haliburton, Maxey will also be representing the Eastern Conference All-Stars this year. He was chosen as a reserve after being among the top vote getters at the guard position. Maxey continues to have a breakout season for the Sixers, putting up averages of 25.7 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 6.4 APG.
