For only the second time in the last 11 years, the Milwaukee Bucks will not have a first-round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Owner of the 58th pick, the Bucks will be picking last in the draft after Chicago and New Orleans forfeited their second-round picks due to violating free agency rules.

Milwaukee was supposed to have a first-round pick this year but lost it due to the P.J. Tucker trade in 2021. It will be a different situation for the Bucks in the coming Draft as they are used to tab aspiring talents in the first round of the annual NBA proceedings.

Here are the Bucks’ selections in the past 10 NBA drafts.

2022

Milwaukee selected MarJon Beauchamp as the 24th overall pick. The Bucks’ second-round pick was forfeited for free agency rules.

The six-foot-seven rookie had a decent showing in his rookie season with the Bucks. He averaged 13.5 minutes in the 52 games that he played in the regular season and was good for 5.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.1 blocks.

Beauchamp's highest-scoring game took place on Nov. 14th when the Bucks lost to the Atlanta Hawks, 106-121. In that game, the former Yakima Valley stalwart shot 7-for-9 from the field and finished with 20 points on top of eight rebounds and one assist.

2021

Milwaukee chose Todd Isaiah as the 31st overall pick. Isaiah was subsequently traded to the Indiana Pacers for the draft rights of the 54th (Sandro Mamukelashvii) and 60th (Georgios Kalaitzakis) picks, and two future second-round draft picks.

2020

Milwaukee selected R.J. Hampton as the 24th pick, but his draft rights were immediately traded to the Denver Nuggets in a four-team deal involving the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Bucks also picked Jordan Nwora at 45th. This deadly gunner played solid for the Bucks as he ended his rookie season by firing a career–high 34 points on 14–23 shooting, along with 14 rebounds and 2 blocks, during a 118–112 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

On Feb. 9th this year, the Bucks traded Nwora to Indiana in a four-team deal that allowed Milwaukee to acquire two-way guard Jae Crowder.

2019

Milwaukee selected Kevin Porter Jr. as the 30th overall pick but later traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers via the Detroit Pistons.

2018

Milwaukee took Donte DiVincenzo as the 17th overall pick.

DiVincenzo played for four seasons with the Bucks and averaged 8.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.3 blocks.

2017

Milwaukee took D.J. Wilson as the 17th overall pick and Sindarius Thornwell as No. 48 selection.

2016

Milwaukee got Thon Maker as the No. 10 pick, Malcolm Brogdon as the 36th pick, and Patrick McCaw as the No. 38 selection.

2015

Milwaukee selected Rashad Vaughn as the No. 17 pick and Norman Powell as the 46th.

2014

Milwaukee used its second overall pick to take in Jabari Parker and furthermore chose Damien Inglis as the 31st pick. The Bucks also took Johnny O’Bryant at No. 36 and Lamar Patterson as the No. 48 pick.

2013

The Bucks picked Giannis Antetokounmpo at No. 15 and Ricky Ledo at No. 43.

Antetokounmpo is easily the best talent that the Bucks got in the past 10 NBA Drafts.

As a Buck, the Greek Freak has already won numerous awards, including two MVPs and seven All-Star selections. Antetokounmpo also led the Bucks to their second NBA title in 2021, where he was named Finals MVP.
