The Milwaukee Bucks end their four-game road trip with a duel against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

The Bucks have gone 2-1 on their current road trip. They started the journey with a 130-111 win over New York, but the Knicks quickly got even when they beat the Bucks in their Christmas Day duel, 129-122. Milwaukee bounced back from that Christmas Day loss by nipping the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, 144-122.

Milwaukee, which swept a six-game homestand before embarking on its current road trip, is 8-2 in its last ten games, a solid stretch that enabled them to tighten their grip on second place in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks are on a roll

With a 23-8 record, Milwaukee is just one and a half games behind the 24-6 Boston Celtics.

Superstar teammates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have been carrying the load for the Bucks.

In the past ten games, Giannis is averaging 30.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, while Dame is good for 25.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.

Milwaukee is taking on a Cleveland team that is on a two-game winning streak.

Even without their top guns, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Darius Garland, the Cavs posted their second-straight win on Wednesday night by upsetting the Dallas Mavericks, 113-110. Cleveland is currently sixth in the East with an 18-13 record.

Injury report

Antetokounmpo (calf) is listed as probable, while Jae Crowder is out for the Bucks due to left adductor surgery.

Mitchell (illness) and Sam Merrill are listed as questionable, while Ty Jerome (ankle), Mobley (arthroscopic surgery), and Garland (fractured jaw) are out for the Cavaliers.
