Some of the top teams in the Eastern Conference collide as the Milwaukee Bucks take on Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

The two streaking squads are among the frontrunners in the East, with the Bucks occupying the second spot with a 28-12 record and the Cavaliers sitting in fourth place with a 23-15 record.

The two protagonists are meeting for the second time this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points when Milwaukee beat Cleveland in their first meeting on December 29th, 119-111. Mitchell also scored 34 points in the loss.

Winning streaks on the line

The Bucks are targeting a fourth-straight win, while the Cavaliers are shooting for their sixth-straight victory. Milwaukee is coming off a dramatic 143-142 win over the Sacramento Kings. The win was made possible by Damian Lillard's buzzer-beating three-pointer.

Milwaukee has gone 6-4 in its last ten games and is averaging 126.2 points, 43.7 rebounds, 30.0 assists, 5.3 steals and 5.5 blocks per game. In that 10-game stretch, the Bucks shot 51.1 percent from the field but gave up 122.4 points per contest.

Despite missing two key players, the Cavaliers have been rolling, going 7-3 in their last ten contests. Over the last ten games, Cleveland has averaged 114.9 points, 47.3 rebounds, 28.7 assists, 7.8 steals and 4.1 blocks.

The Cavaliers have been playing solid defense, as in their last ten games, they only allowed their opponents to score 107.0 points per game.

Injury report

The Bucks have no players on the injured list. Jae Crowder is set to return after a long layoff. Jae has not played since November 11th after undergoing an adductor surgery.

Evan Mobley (knee) and Darius Garland (jaw) will remain out for the Cavaliers. Also out for the Cavaliers is Ty Jerome (ankle), while Caris LeVert (wrist) is listed as probable.
