The Milwaukee Bucks try to end a two-game skid when they take on the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.

The Bucks are playing the back end of a back-to-back and the second contest of their three-game road trip. Milwaukee started the road trip with a 130-142 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. It was Milwaukee’s second defeat to Indiana in just three days.

The Bucks have yet to lose three in a row this season. Milwaukee has lost three of its five games but is still in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 24-10 record. After going 11-2 in December, Milwaukee is off to a winless start this month with all two losses dealt by Indiana.

Giannis battles Wemby

Milwaukee and San Antonio are meeting for the second time this season. Still, it will be the first time Giannis Antetokounmpo and rookie Victor Wembanyama will play each other.

Wembanyama was sidelined with a foot injury when the Bucks defeated the Spurs, 132-119, on December 19th.

On the season, Giannis is averaging 30.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks. Wembanyama is good for 18.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 3.1 blocks per contest.

San Antonio is on a three-game skid and is in last place in the Western Conference with a 5-28 record.

Injury report

AJ Green (nasal fracture) and Jae Crowder (left adductor surgery) are out for the Bucks.

Malaki Branham (ankle) is listed as doubtful, while Zach Collins (ankle) and Charles Bassey (ACL) are out for the Spurs.
