After a premature exit in Game 1 and missing the entire Game 2, Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable for the Milwaukee Bucks' Game 3 against the Miami Heat on Saturday night.

Per a report by Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer disclosed that Giannis was able to do some individual stuff before the team’s practice on Friday.

However, it remains unclear if the Greek Freak would be able to suit up for Game 2 after he was unable to perform team stuff during the practice.

Close monitoring

The Bucks have submitted an injury report for Game 3, listing Antetokounmpo as questionable due to a lower back contusion.

“We’re just going to monitor him for the rest of today. We’ll monitor him tomorrow and see where he is and, together with him, make decisions,” said Budenholzer.

Antetokounmpo hurt his back after a nasty fall in the first quarter of Game 1, which was won by the Heat 130-117.

The two-time MVP actually tried to play through the injury but was clearly hampered by back issues that forced Budenholzer to pull him out for good early in the second quarter.

Team effort is a must

Antetokounmpo played for just 11 minutes in Game 1 and tallied six points and three rebounds. Despite not having Giannis, Milwaukee won Game 2 in convincing fashion, 138-122.

Led by the 25-point output of Brook Lopez, seven players scored in double figures in Game 2 for the Bucks. They will be hard-pressed to put in the same collective effort should Antetokounmpo fail to suit up in Game 3.
